It’s fall in San Angelo, and the pumpkins are out in full force! Each year, Grape Creek puts on a fantastic pumpkin patch that is free to the public. Located at 7706 FM 2288, the pumpkin patch has fabulous displays, endless photo ops, cars for kids to drive around, and of course, pumpkins! It is open from October 5-31st from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon-7 p.m. on Sunday. Be sure to check it out!

The July 3rd Pops Concert is a yearly event by the San Angelo Symphony. This highly-anticipated concert is a long standing tradition in San Angelo and is something you definitely don’t want to miss! The concert takes place at the Bill Aylor Sr. Memorial River Stage on the banks of the Concho River at 16 E. Avenue A.
The event is free for everyone, and “continues to unite our community in a patriotic celebration to honor our military, or leaders, and our country. This concert, which draws more than 35,000 in attendance, is now the 4th largest in the state of Texas. The July 3rd Pops Concert features historic cannons from Fort Concho, military pageantry including the men and women of Goodfellow Air Force Base, symphonic songs of celebration, and a Fireworks Extravaganza”.
